Discover the Elbaz Difference
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea covers well under a square mile, and the town has deliberately stayed low-rise, favoring mid-century cottages and small buildings over the high-rises found elsewhere on the Broward coast. Its other defining feature sits just offshore: a three-tiered coral reef close enough to the beach that the town calls itself Florida’s Beach Diving Capital. Many of those low-rise, mid-century buildings are now decades old and due for real updating, without losing the small scale that makes the town what it is.
Elbaz Construction renovates within that scale on purpose, updating a mid-century beach cottage or small residential building without turning it into something that doesn’t belong on these blocks. Coastal-grade windows, doors, and roofing matter just as much here as anywhere on the water, and we build them into a design that still looks like Lauderdale-by-the-Sea rather than somewhere else.
